Middle School Electives & Enrichment
Electives for Seventh and Eighth Grade
Each week students choose from a selection of interesting and fun educational experiences including:
• Yearbook- eighth graders work collaboratively using an online program to create a wonderful memento of their years at SSSQ
• Community Service- Eighth graders participate in a community service project
After school educational enrichment activities
• E2K Gruss Science and Math programs for 6th, 7th and 8th Graders
• Peer Tutoring - Seventh grade students tutor elementary students in General and Judaic Studies
• High School entrance exam Review - Our 7th and 8th graders are offered a review course in preparation for specialized high school entrance exams
Leadership and Spiritual Experiences
• Student Council - School-wide Student Council election
• Chagigot - Lively dancing/games in celebration of Chanukah, Yom Ha’Atzmaut and Yom Yerushalayim.
