Author’s Day 2010 – Grades 1 - 3
On Thursday, March 18th, the students in grades one through three had the chance to share their writings with parents, friends, and their classmates.

There was a great deal of excitement in the air and many of the students were anxious for this day to arrive. The writings that the students read aloud were pieces they had composed in the classroom, and for many of them, they were the favorite pieces of writing that the students had written this year. Each student had a chance to sit in the “Author’s Chair” and share their writing along with artwork that was prepared to illustrate it. A special thanks to all the parents, grandparents, and friends that came in to listen to these young, creative authors and we look forward to making this event a success again next year.
