FACTS ABOUT THE SCHOOL

  • We are the only Conservative Jewish day school in Queens.

  • Our school has a comprehensive library collection of Judaic and General Studies books enhanced by on-line computers.

  • Our school has received the National Solomon Schechter Award for Excellence in Judaic Studies.

  • Our school uses the Tal Sela and the Tal-Am Hebrew Language Program, a highly acclaimed, advanced, and sophisticated Hebrew language program.

  • We are the only Solomon Schechter school that has been working with the Melton Research Center of JTS, from its inception, on a comprehensive and age appropriate Chumash curriculum.

  • Over the years, our students have won numerous awards for contests sponsored by Board of Jewish Education, Hebrew Spelling Bee, Essay Contest on Zionism, Bible contest, etc.

  • We employ a full time Middle School Coordinator, Lower School Coordinator, Psychologist and a Nurse.

  • We have athletic teams and after school music, art and sports clubs.

  • We have an Extended Day Program from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
