SOLOMON SCHECHTER SCHOOL OF QUEENS

The PTA is a volunteer membership body composed of parents of Solomon Schechter students. Our focus is to provide the school community with programs, people power, resources, and information. Our primary goal is to improve and enrich the educational, social, and individual experiences of our children, parents, teachers, and staff. We encourage you to join the PTA and show your support. 

We are very proud of the work we do. Our fundraising efforts are of primary importance to SSSQ. Our successes have enabled us to purchase or underwrite many of the "extras" for the school. Over the past few years we have contributed to the scholarship fund, the Siddur and Chumash celebrations, 6th grade Teva trip, 7th grade Washington/Philadelphia trip, 8th grade Boston/Newport trip, Purim carnival and much more...

Without parent involvement, this could not have been accomplished. Your help is needed, and we welcome your participation in any or all of the wonderful programs and projects sponsored by the PTA.
