In honor of Parshat Noach, a petting zoo came to visit Schechter Queens. The children had so much fun petting and feeding the goats, bunnies, and Coco the horse. It really tickled as the animals licked up all the yummy food. Each class had an opportunity to have a fun and bumpy hay ride. It was so wonderful to see real animals just as they were learning about the animals that went into Noach’s ark.

Congratulations to our 6th and 7th grade teams for meeting all requirements for state prizes in the NY State eCYBERMISSION Competition.

Middle school students discover the shocking science behind static electricity.

Many of our middle school students have the opportunity to learn Spanish, an additional foreign language. We are proud of our student's accomplishments and hope you enjoy this video clip of the weather in Spanish.

We had a great Purim Week filled with activities. This would not have been possible without the efforts of our teachers, staff and administration. In addition, Jeanine Mashihi, Tovi Ostroviak and the entire PTA board were instrumental in planning events and putting together our mishloach manot. Special thanks to Meni Mor for all of his assistance as well. In a year like this it truly takes a team effort to succeed, and this is the latest example.
